Most of the trails I went on or passed by were well packed, and all were easy to follow. Exceptions: Stage Coach was booted by just a few people so it was rough and holey, Bicentennial was booted by a lot of people so it was nice and fluffy. All kinds of footwear had been used for ascent and descent: snowshoes, spikes, bareboots, and skis. I even saw some kind of sled track on the upper Harrington, woo hoo. The upper Harrington Trail above the Link Trail didn't have any exposed ice flows this time but it is steep. It was windy on the summit but not on the trails on the south side of the mountain. |
