Comments: Cold was the talk of the day and the parking lot had one other car in it (another was there upon leaving). Up until treeline it was CALM and beautiful. Summit was a little cloudy and the temp was low but maybe not quite the -50 windchill predicted. All in all a great day to be out there. I am not a veteran in the Whites (just moved from Southern CA) but the one other guy on the mountain said it doesn't get much better than what we had wind and visibility wise. Hooked on winter hiking now...
