Only blowdowns were on an old section of the Tully Trail west of the Campground that I followed by accident. I'm curious about the section south of the T. Trail south of the Ledges, however. See Comments. |

The TTOR Tully Trail Map omits the section of the TT that leaves the woods road .7 mile north of Doane Hill Rd. and switchbacks from the south up to the Ledges. Fortunately, I had read the AMC Mass. Trail Guide, as that turn has no sign and might be missed. That section is blazed and maintained, however, although the blazes become fewer and fainter as I approached the Ledges overlook. The TTOR map route would require a long out-and-back for the Ledges overlook from the south, vs. a short loop. |
