Parking/Access Road Notes: only one other car when I parked about 1130.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes: the only possible crossing was bone dry. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: the trail is impeccably maintained. Not one issue along the way. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: it would be a fine doggy hike for a fit pooch.  
Bugs
Bugs: none. bug season is over. 
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: two hats were hanging on a tree near the viewing platform. One from PSU and the other St Lucia.  
 
Comments
Comments: A fine fun hike to a pleasant peak. Skip lunch at the summit and enjoy the view instead from the Brownsville Rock just below the summit at the stone hut. Great views West into the heart of Vermont.
