Parking/Access Road Notes: Go slow on Journeys End Rd. It is rutted for the last mile. Parking for a few cars at both turn arounds.

Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: One water crossing with a high water rope... Didn't need it today. Lots of water running but all crossings are rock hoppable.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A lot of blow downs after the shelter, makes the trail hard to follow in places. A lot of blazes have also worn off trees.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Easy trail for dogs with plenty of water. If continuing on the Long Trail, of course make sure your dog is accustomed to Long Distance hiking.
Bugs
Bugs: Yep.... But one application of Ben's 30% and they didn't bother me all day.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing here.

Comments
Comments: I drove over 3 hours to hike 2.6 miles! I wanted to check out the road for my ride when I get picked up on June 10th and not hiking at all was out of the question. So, we hiked to the boundary and enjoyed great views into Canada. Beautiful day before the rain moved in. I am good to go for the Long Trail coming June 3rd!
