Carriage Roads were damp from the recent rain, but were not muddy. A little standing or running water on some of the foot paths. Very nice trail running. Did a 6 mile loop over South and North Peaks of Mt. Tom, as well as The Pogue. Good footing. Lower Mountain Road scenery isn't too great right now, as the government recently did a bunch of logging all around it. Lots of nice stonework to be seen. |
