A 1.5 inch widowmaker leaning across trail you can duck under. Sign at trailhead with map and trail regulations was blown over. |

Important High Point. First High point achieved by Ansel A. Took us a minute to figure out where the true summit was. It is a rock with cairn near the Brown University telescope pad. We should have looked at the map at the trailhead. Began to suffer from altitude sickness so retreated to trailhead. We "ascended" at 1 PM, well within the 8 AM to 4 PM time limit. |
