Parking/Access Road Notes: Plenty of parking at the entrance on Colebrook Rd. I gather there is also a small lot on John Dyer Rd., to the east of the Area.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Standing/Running Water on Trail

Water Crossing Notes: Bridged.

Trail Maintenance Notes: All in good shape, but no signs or blazes.

Dog-Related Notes: I only saw a couple of people and they didn't have a dog.

Bugs: None, to my pleasant surprise after heavy mosquitoes in two earlier hikes not far from here.

Comments: Unnamed trails in counterclockwise loop, with a detour to the two southernmost ponds.


An attractive 3.1- mile loop passing 7 ponds on peaceful country lanes.
