| Comments: |
Cold and then cold and windy. We did three laps which came out to about 9 miles. The Carr's Pond was simply beautiful with the sun shining on it and the water as a result being blue and very clear. Saw deer and Woodpeckers and some Mallard Ducks. There are Beavers, Otters, Swans and Geese there also as well as Owls. Good time hiking with my friend "the Ice Climber" Tom who is an expert on birds and the wildlife out there. Good person to hike with to learn about the Habitat. |
