Incredible storms last night with over 3 inches of rain in an hour or so which made the trails flooded in some section. The water was up to the platform of the bridges and the streams were overflowing. The foot bridges over the swamp on the Orange Trail was spilling over and you needed care to hike through there. Very warm and humid. I got a lot of tremendous shots of the running water which was beyond belief for this trail section. Waiting for the cold weather and snow to head up to the White Mountains. The roar of the water was incredible as you approached. |
