Water Crossing Notes: Final water crossings at Liberty Brook and Lincoln Brook easily waded (and rock hopped by part of the group). Avoided other crossings by using BPBW

Trail Maintenance Notes: A few blowdowns but nothing more than expected

Dog-Related Notes: Dog friendly hike (for dogs with lots of stamina). Congratulations to Geneva for finishing her 48 on Owl's Head!!!

Bugs: A few black flies on the bushwhack but otherwise way better than expected

Comments: For a hike that I've been dreading for so long due to it's awful reputation this turned out to be a fantastic day! Great people (and overall good conditions) made it a memorable hike - in a very good way!
