Comments
Comments: A great day out today - clear skies and a nice cooling breeze up top. Temperature at the top was 61 degrees today! Crawford still has a nice packed footbed with some wet snow on top but lots of postholes off to the side. There are some stretches of ice but given temps they were soft/slushy and easily navigated - might be more problematic if the temps drop below freezing again. A few spots with water flowing above the snow and slush, on one the snow gave way and I ended up in 6 inches of water. Webster Cliff to the summit is a mix of snow, slush, and open rocks/dirt with water running down the trail. Wore hillsounds the entire way for a bit of extra traction and trail held weight without any problems as long as I stayed on the footbed, a step off to the side and you'll sink into several feet of snow - saw a mix of snowshoes, light traction, and bare boots.

Talked to a group that had come from Eisenhower - they indicated Crawford was pretty chewed up with post holes. They said Eisenhower loop above the ladder was snow free to the summit. Mizpah cutoff and Webster Cliff beyond Pierce heading towards the hut both appeared packed out.
