Old Mountain Highway-West
Here in the Lakes region there is a hard unbreakable crust on most of the trails. 95 percent of the time it supports me with trail runners and microspikes. Where the sun has shone on the trails they are a bit icy. There also seems to have been more significant icing from the last storm around 1400 ft. The view of Squam from Livermore cannot be beat |
