Comments
Comments: Absolutely gorgeous day to be out hiking! Didn't hit any ice until the ledges on Surprise - put on spikes from there and kept them on until the return. Snow was hard packed on way up as it was cold night before, more slushy and a little slippery on way down as it got warmer. Met a lovely gentleman near the top and hiked the rest of the way with him - was nice to have company.
