Parking/Access Road Notes: the small parking lot of 4 cars was full at 8:30am. we parked on the road shoulder. when we left at 2pm, there were about 7 cars.

Surface Conditions: Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Mud - Significant, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Unstable), Snow - Spring Snow, Snow/Ice - Postholes, Slush

Recommended Equipment: Snowshoes, Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: the river, about 2 miles from trailhead, was running high but hoppable on rocks and a dead tree trunk that were 20 feet upstream

Comments: barebooted from the trailhead to elevation ~ 2600 feet, then spiked up to the summit and back down to elevation 2600 feet, barebooted back to the trailhead. snowshoes took a free ride.
