Comments
Comments: Bring what ever traction you have and put it on when you need it. Then change it 5 minutes later because the trail condition changes. Yes, it is spring! Put the spikes on then you hit bare rock. Post hole and go for the snowshoes, then you hit a really narrow rocky section that is hard to navigate. That kind of day. The snowshoes helped going up/down Passaconaway which is steep and soft. The ledge on BB Ledge trail was bare. The worst post hole potential is on Rollins. The most mud is on Dicey Mill where the trail turns into a stream.
