Comments
Comments: Snowshoes required the whole way. With the 45-60 degree days and rain coming the snow is getting very soft and beginning to compress. Even with snowshoes you’re sliding off the edge of the trail with 1 foot constantly from 1.2 miles up. With the soft snow, the trip down gets more challenging as all warms up.
Great views of the whites on your way up/down since there are no leaves on the trees yet.
Actually, turned around with .3m left as the travel got quite challenging. Will return in a month to complete once then snow is mostly gone.
