Comments
Comments: Started early while trail was firm barebooting. By Mt Surprise I put on snowshoes. The trail was nicely tracked out with only 2 sets of postholers. I ran into trailrunners who were descending. I asked them to tread lightly since it was warming up. And you know those 2 lovely ladies must have done just that since I didn't see their small footprints. My snowshoes smoothed out the post holes and the trail was looking great, but then along came 3 men barebooting the trail and the soft trail was then trashed.
