Comments
Comments: Bare booted to gem pool, snowshoes rest way. 2 individuals yesterday postholed trail making it awkward but snow was very firm for our 5am start. Cools have switched to spikes just for Monroe but chose to stick with snowshoes. Definitely needed snowshoes ret of day. Much windier than expect on Monroe. Washington was as advertised, pretty pleasant and peaceful. Didn’t see anyone else til heading down cog and then it was 95% skiers. Great day to get out ahead of eclipse traffic. As I headed south on 93 the masses were heading north, like peak foliage weekend day!
