Comments
Comments: Honestly there were fewer problems on the trails than on the local roads!

Our Subie powered through it, but anything lower or FWD might have trouble unless it got a running start (but then you can’t see the cars coming down 171).

Some folks had barebooted/postholed their way to the top recently. We wore snowshoes and flattened things out a bit, though with increasing temps, I suspect you won’t be able to use them by the end of the week. We encountered two spots of bare rock and one spot where there was some running water on the trail. Otherwise it was solid snow the whole way.

Needed a quick one today, but the weather was terrific. I’ll be honest, though, and say I’m sick of the bad snow. Either give me nice snow or no snow at all. I’m hoping things improve while I’m away on a work trip for a couple of weeks.
