At least 20 summited this morning. A mix of spikes and snowshoes. Either worked well. Rocks are starting to melt through on the lowest half mile of trail. The rest of the trail is reasonably well packed but soft and sticky at the bottom. And somewhat less consolidated softer snow near the summit. Overall, few postholes, just boot prints in the wide snowshoe track. |
