Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked at the gas station, which was plowed. Jackson the Dog and I split some breakfast pizza, he was pumped. Road was plowed with a snowbank blocking the summer trailhead. As we were walking in two people shoveled the snowbank and sorta parked right there, it looked like that might have earned them a ticket on the windshield. A high clearance vehicle should be able to get in here.

Comments
Comments: A lovely bonus day of snowshoeing considering it’s April. This was a business trip to help Chase close this one out for his grid, we earned the golden ticket and happily put down a nice track for the other groups behind us. Great to see everyone wearing their snowshoes (minus Jackson). Wet snow, slush down low. Some nice fluffy powder up top. It didn’t seem to be consolidating much above about 2500 feet so you will probably still want to pack the ‘shoes the next few days.
