Comments
Comments: Spikes all the way, in and out [please use SKIS or SNOWSHOES on the SKI TRAIL!]. The trails were frozen hard in the early morning, making for a fast ascent. Mashed potatoes by late morning. Very slippery going down the steep sections. Crampons would have been best for that. These conditions might reappear next week after the coming snow is packed and frozen. Until then, wear your snowshoes!
