Comments
Comments: Bare booted to the last half mile below the junction of Carriage rd then spikes the rest of the way. Snowshoes went for a ride today. Surprisingly good trail conditions though others we saw couldn't say the same for Gorge Brook. The wind blew the summit free of most snow. Just some spots of ice. Wind was blowing, but not enough to make it difficult. Saw several groups mostly without traction and one young woman just off the summit who asked it we were on the "Snappy" trail. Please read a map before you go out. It's important. I promise. Otherwise a lovely day in the windy woods!
