Roads / driveways shown on maps were posted no trespassing. The end of road turns into a woods road, and passes what looks like an abandoned house on the left. This was not posted, so we walked in about 0.2, then took a bearing for the summit. Around 2200' we intersected with a gently used hiking trail to the summit. We found the rock cairn, but the jar was gone. Followed the hiking trail southerly a tiny bit more, to a view ledge. Today was cloudly, so we didn't get the great views other report. Easy woods, pleasant hike with JEM3. |
