Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Large washed out area of snowmobile trail/road just beyond the gate, probably a few hundred yards worth (and several feet deep), up to the top of the first hill, the right side of the trail is easiest to walk on. One blowdown of note, just prior to reaching the pond, is a crown blocking the trail. Could be taken out with a few saw cuts, but we did not have one with us.

Comments
Comments: Another in a series of return trips today. Good walking up the road/snowmobile trail, with sections of soft pine duff walking on the in between sections. If you're paying attention, there are some HUGE old trees up along the trail, several trunks being 30"+ in diameter! Very quiet up at the pond, where there's a canoe (with paddles), and a flat-bottomed skiff, though I can't attest to their sea (or pond) worthiness.
