Eagle Link is in wilderness zone and not being maintained. Multiple blowdowns. Areas where trail grown in and difficult to follow. Puncheons are rotting. By next year trail probably not navigable unless known by hiker. I believe this is an important trail that connects Wild River Wilderness with the Baldfaces and Meader Ridge. I called forest service and reported very poor trail condition. Other trails, maintained by Chatham Trail Association in great shape. |
