As noted above, the Franconia Ridge Trail is free and clear between Liberty and Little Haystack now. Trails are in excellent shape now, one water/mud pit between the Black Brook crossings on the Bondcliff Trail. No blowdowns except for the lower section of the Bondcliff Trail along the flat RR grade, about a dozen step overs, and two duck unders.
For those interested, the Black Brook trestle has half fallen over, sad to see it fall, never thought it would! pics on blog post. |
