Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: I don’t think i will park at Cog again. Since you have to park in the lower lot you really only save a 5-10 minute walk to Ammonoosic parking. And it is $10. instead of the Ammo $5.

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All Bridged
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: It would be nice if the sign at the junction of Jewell and Boundary line was labeled. Right now it says “NT parking” for Boundary Line and Cog cor Jewell.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: The only water after Clay Brook is a lovely spring just below Gulfside Trail just before the Sphinx Trail. It is signed “spring” from both directions.
Bugs
Bugs: On the Jewell coming and going but not so bad if you keep moving. None above treeline.

Comments
Comments: What a lovely hike! We had lunch a bit down the Sphinx Trail which was gorgeous. That and the spring were my favorite parts. Talked to a few nice people. Only saw 2 other dogs.
