| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
I don’t think i will park at Cog again. Since you have to park in the lower lot you really only save a 5-10 minute walk to Ammonoosic parking. And it is $10. instead of the Ammo $5. |

| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |

|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
All Bridged |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
It would be nice if the sign at the junction of Jewell and Boundary line was labeled.
Right now it says “NT parking†for Boundary Line and Cog cor Jewell. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
The only water after Clay Brook is a lovely spring just below Gulfside Trail just before the Sphinx Trail. It is signed “spring†from both directions. |
|
| Bugs: |
On the Jewell coming and going but not so bad if you keep moving. None above treeline. |

| Comments: |
What a lovely hike! We had lunch a bit down the Sphinx Trail which was gorgeous. That and the spring were my favorite parts. Talked to a few nice people. Only saw 2 other dogs. |
