| Comments: |
After my volunteer duties at Lost River, I swung by here to complete the lower 1.3 miles of Carriage Road for redlining.
The half mile or so walk up the end of Breezy Point Road features some impressive destruction with deep washouts. At the top, one of the most scenic trailhead areas in the Whites.
Carriage Road was a plethora of conditions, switching between dry and grassy to wet and muddy to rocky and eroded. Grades are easy though and the walking is good. I climbed up to the lower junction with Hurricane Trail and then turned around. |
