Comments
Comments: After returning from bushwhacking to Bog Mountain, I decided to check out Farnum. I did note on the USGS that a road led to the summit on the other side, so there may be something up there, but since I was there ...

The woods road leaves directly opposite where I parked for Bog. I followed this up to a clearing, turned left and continued straight at the end of the clearing into the woods. Crossing a small stream and passing through a stone wall, I then climbed steeply up the southern slope of Farnum, zig-zagging to avoid bouldery areas. Sure enough, as I approached the top, I could see there is a private residence at the summit.

I turned around and headed back down via the same route. Since this was a south-facing route, there was very little snow and the terrain was mostly dry.
