Comments
Comments: Pretty much as good as it gets for Spring time. Overall, snow-shoes or bare-booting seem like the best choices right now.

Solid trails (easily bare-bootable) until Black Pond.

No visible sign of any travel on the BP BW - except for the "Gang of 4" (aka Patty, Larry B, Larry Y, and Bill C) ahead of Georg end me. Conditions are mostly solid (able to walk everywhere) but there are many soft patches here and there. Used snowshoes on the return. After the BW solid conditions again until Brutus BW.

Conditions on Brutus similar to the BP BW. Georg and I started with light traction but the "Gang of 4" - all in snowshoes - made the better choice and moved much better than Georg and I did. We made the switch. Snow-shoes also provided solid traction on the descent.

Our tracks had visibly diminished in the afternoon as we returned. The continued melting probably means that most tracks - except for deeper footprints - will not be visible for long. We made inbound variations compared to the outbound treks - so, for whatever is visible expect variations on the 2 BWs.
