Comments
Comments: Ron and I wore Hillsound Trail Crampon Pros up over Monroe and Washington and changed into spikes on Gulfside trail near the Clay Loop. At that point, there are many rocks exposed with ice on the trail. We changed into snowshoes once we got into the trees as we descended Jewell, mainly because the sun had set and we thought it safer to walk in snowshoes then look for the uneven surfaces that existed.
