Snow cover is very thin and bony, even after the recent storm, and it's going to melt away in the next few days anyway. I went with spikes. I suppose you could wear snowshoes, but they are probably more trouble than they are worth given the meager conditions.
This was just a short walk up to the vista to catch the sunset, which was mostly clouded over. Still nice to get out though. |
