Comments
Comments: Thanks to Thursday's group for breaking out the trail! Both bushwacks were easy to follow and made them almost appear to be proper trails; hiking in, I put on snowshoes at trail juncture with Black Pond trail; 4 of the other hikers put them on in the parking lot; one waited until Black Pond; I didn't take them off again until I was back at the car; a bunch of walkers 'mucked up' the Black Pond bushwack by bare-booting; bumped into them on my return trip

besides the cold temps (it was -1F when we started hiking), gorgeous day with lots of peak-a-boo views of the Franconia Ridge; the Owl's Head Path had some drifts that needed to be broken out again, but besides that a very easy hike today--again, thanks, to all those of you who broke out the trail!!!
