| Comments: |
The 3-5 inches of snow combined with drifts of 12+ inches definitely made for a difficult trip over. The trail coming up from Rocky Branch and the over and back were well packed. Thought I was going to suffer more on the way up to the ridge but a Canadian couple had blissfully come over and down behind me and packed down the trail to the main climb back up to the ridge before turning around. Snowshoes are still a storm or two away with no base underneath. |
