Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: A number of crossings; one bigger one near the recent re-route showed washout and damage from October storm. All rocks snow covered so had to check each step. Crossing nearest the cascades had fast water and was trickier but doable. Crossing nearest Nancy Pond has a long log that has been broken in half do to the recent rush of water.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A few blow downs but nothing impassable. We chose not to cross the broken log crossing near pond. Did not appear safe and was slippery. Bushwacking to another crossing did not appear an option.

Comments
Comments: Trail started out with an inch or two of crusting snow, but about 1/3 up, turned into a full winter scene. Snow night before did not turn to rain, so trees snow covered. At some places 6 inches of snow as far as we went.
Very windy day also so need for full winter gear necessary.
