Almost no visible damage from the storm a few weeks back. Trail seemed to be in good condition. Some bridges around the lake appeared to be sinking and froze into the water, but easily passable. |

| Lost and Found: |
found a single slip on crampon looked like it could be a for a kid or woman based on size. Had actual spikes on the bottom brand was 'STABLE' model 'ICERS' if you think this is yours please email me. I didn't want to leave it at the trail head just to continuously get covered in snow and ice. |

1st snow hike ever. The trail was in good condition. I have never hiked these trails before but based on the amount of ice and running water I would expect it to be fairly wet during summer. Managed great time on the way up and took a bit longer on the way down because some of the trickier all ice spots. I didn't have the best crampons and didn't want to injure myself, especially never having hiked in snow/ice conditions. Beautiful trail and steep hike, views are great and weather was good. |
