A surprisingly pleasant hike. Trail was leaf covered so some care was needed to follow. Higher up was a couple challenging steep ice covered climbs but were doable w/o spikes by hanging onto trees. 2 in our group put them on, 2 didn't. Otherwise spikes were not needed. Near the summit was the big ledge with awesome views. Very few blowdowns, mostly old ones and they were no trouble. Trail in great shape. |
