Bugs: We tried to hold a discussion, but the bugs, on the whole, were non-communicative. Could have been the cold?

Comments
Comments: Eric and I in microspikes all day. An inch plus of snow over frequent ice at elevation. Ice still soft, easy to get a good bite with decent spikes. Snow was starting to pack in between rocks, making for easier travel overall. Slow ascent, careful foot placement required, but no major problems. Black ice with no bite at all in a couple of places. A few folks were ascending without traction, which seemed dicey. Hope they achieved their goals safely.
