Comments
Comments: Dry trail and frozen ground all around with one area of thick ice along the woods road between the ends of the hiking trail loop, easily avoided. There's a register in the privately-owned cabin (public access is ok) with the previous visitor having been there today as well.

From the cabin, I took the herd path to the highpoint, which is marked by a small cairn. I recall a cairn marking the entrance to the herd path last time I was here, but it's no longer there. The path is a little obscure at first, then becomes more defined with bits of flagging.
