Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The primary purpose of the hike was to clear the blowdowns on the upper portion of Lend A Hand Trail. We cleared 46 blowdowns ranging in diameter of 2" to 12" or more in the upper 1/2 mile of the trail. We ran out of time so did not descend any further but I think we got most of the blowdowns. Also delimbed 9 leaning trees to make it safe to walk around them. Upper portion of Lend A Hand trail is very clear and free of obstructions now.

Comments: Thanks to the 4 hikers who joined me today to clear my adopted trail. A little ice on the trail but not enough to meet above criteria.
