Comments
Comments: The reroute away from Nancy Brook post-Irene damage has been well done but unavoidably makes that section rougher and less scenic. The Cascades didn't scintillate, with the water low. On the other hand, the new-to-me 2.8 mile section from the Norcross Pond outlet to Carrigain Notch Trail delighted - an easy, even slope followed by a straightaway, all with good surfaces. It didn't seem like the Whites.

On the way back, just past that outlet the well-known bootleg trail is more prominent than the real Trail, so keep right.
