plenty of parking at Cog Base Station - prior to 7am there was no fee collector - I spent that $5 I would have spent parking instead at the cafeteria on top on a yogurt parfait and a Diet Coke - mmmmmmm |

Terrific day - thanks Hiker Ed!!!! SO glad to get back on George after such a long time. Yes, it was somewhat crowded but I guess I hit it right as there was no line at the ladies' room and no line at the CATaferia - yay!!!! I kind of missed the snow up there, BUT, I still got a sunburn :) and only a few short months until winter. Fun to see all the work along the access road to the cog. 59 degrees on the summit - wow! |
