Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: The south section of this trail is closed, which we did not realize. (we think the Bucknell trail is still open). We left a car on Rice hill road. The trail starts as a road just east of the height of land and then quick bears right and becomes a blue blazed path. We parked another on Portland Hill road and bushwhacked up at a point that was away from homes and yards. (we did scout the old route from the south and found it posted).

Comments
Comments: We bushwhacked up in some very nice open woods, until we hit the Bucknell junction on the trail. We followed the trail, which had several nice views along the way and went close to or over the highpoints. This is a very nice route.
