Water Crossing Notes: No significant water crossings
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The Lonesome Lake Trail is closed from Hi-Cannon to Lonesome Lake. The Hi-Cannon Trail is eroded in many places as the surface is bare sand/gravel which can be slippery especially on descent. All other trails in good condition. The Fishin Jimmy trail is so much improved after the recent trail work. One wooden step on a ledge on the Fishin Jimmy trail fell off and is the adjacent woods. The missing step doesn't cause much difficulty.

Bugs
Bugs: Not many even though there was very little winds.

Comments
Comments: The hike visits both Lonesome Lake and Kinsman Pond. You can enjoy lakeside dining. Great views from both Kinsman summits. At North Kinsman you can see Kinsman Pond if you venture down to the lower ledge area which is accessed by a path through the scrub.
