Parking/Access Road Notes: The parking on 3 mile Rd is minimal. Only 3 cars can fit max.

Water Crossing Notes: Water is really down here. Only one good water source to fill up from or to give water to a dog. So, carry extra.

Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail is great here. No issues.  
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Easy little section for dogs. Isis had a great time. Water is scarce so, pack in extra for your dog.  
Bugs
Bugs: Skeeters are buzzing and lots of dragon flies.  
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: There was a glove at Moose Mountain shelter.

Comments: A short 2.5 mile hike out to Moose Mountain shelter over south peak and out to the shelter. Easy grades and a quick hike. I really enjoyed it. The view on South Peak out to goose pond was really nice too.
