Dog-Related Notes: Didn't see any. Wildcat Ridge up to D would be a tough go for dogs.

Comments: A challenging, but doable hike up from Rt. 16 to D. A great finish going down Nineteen Mile. Saw several thru hikers. Stop at The Carter Notch Hut. It's beautiful and comes at a great time.
