Comments
Comments: Saw 4 other hikers that day. Beautiful blue sky. No snow from Wonalancet to Passaconway. Trail was dry. Snow coming down the other side of Passaconway to Dicey Mill (western side). 0.1 miles of post holeing to get through at the top, then easy decent with microspikes along the monorail. Easier decent than expected. Was told by another hiker that the hike to Whiteface from Passaconway was still all snow. Lots and lots of moose scat on Walden Trail between Mt. Hibbard and Passaconway! No wind, no bugs, no rain.... perfect day to be in the mountains.
