Comments
Comments: Used microspikes on the hard-packed/icy Nineteen Mile Brook Trail to jct of Carter Dome Trail, then nearly to Zeta Pass. Snowshoes essential from Zeta on across the ridge to South and Middle Carter, plus the short bushwhack to Mt. Lethe. Kept snowshoes on for North Carter Trail until Imp jct. then barebooted to Camp Dodge Cutoff. Bare ground alternating with small ice patches. Beautiful day on the ridge and had it mostly to ourselves. Only 1 other hiker headed the other direction on the ridge, plus 1 hiker ascending North Carter Trail.
